So, what interesting has happened?  I got accepted at UMD; still haven't heard from the others.  More on that front to follow as new developments occur.  We had a Quiz Bowl invitational at Roseville on Saturday, at which we took third, coming in after two teams that practice five times per week, so that was pretty good.  The last meet for Math Team was Monday, at which awards were handed out for the season.  I got some stuff as the top scorer for our team and sixth in the division, and the team faired mediocerly, which was to be expected considering the age demographics we have this year.  We'll have to see how they do two and three years from now.  Would anybody be interested in coming mini-golfing on Saturday with us at Lava Links at 2:30?  Let me know.  Also, anybody want to do the CCFA Bowl-A-Thon?  Ask for details.  Oh, on Sunday I went to a hunger banquet at my church, which was interesting, I just hope all of the young kids that came remember that ten years down the line.  The senior high youth kind of cheated though, because since we were helping out (as "reporters"), Marta took us out to Buffalo Wild Wings afterwards, where by the way, I destroyed everybody at the video trivia.  That's right.  (Actually right before we left some other guy there eeked out a few more points ahead of me, but I was wasting him most of the time, and everbody else for sure.)  Who would have thought?  And it was a bunch of sports questions too.  (Can you say lucky guess?)  Anyway, and my revelation for today, gained while hanging out after Pios with Heather, is that TC Scoops (the eatery establishment formerly know as the Loony Bin, formerly known as Taliano's) has really good cheese.   So on that note, I go to sleep.
